Title:	Skisprungschanze "Bergisel" - Ein neues Wahrzeichen von Innsbruck
Abstract:	Die Skisprungschanze von Innsbruck (Österreich), die für die jährliche "Vierschanzen-Tournee" zum Jahreswechsel berühmt ist, wurde im vergangenen Jahr komplett erneuert. Der ursprüngliche Sprungturm - für die Olympischen Winterspiele 1976 errichtet - wurde vollständig abgetragen, und es entstand ein leuchtturmähnliches neues Wahrzeichen am Bergisel am Rande der Stadt. Die bekannte Architektin Zaha Hadid (London) gewann den Wettbewerb. Mit der Konstruktion und Tragwerksplanung wurde das Büro Aste, Zivilingenieur für Bauwesen, in Innsbruck betraut. Das teilkomplettierte Bauwerk wurde nach einem sehr engen Terminplan bereits zum Sprungbetrieb im Januar 2002 an den Bauherren, die Bergisel Betriebs-GmbH, übergeben. Das Ende der Bauphase ist für das Frühjahr 2002 vorgesehen.
