Abstract:	1992 fiel die Entscheidung, den Lehrter Bahnhof zum zentralen Bahnhof des Berliner Schienennetzes auszubauen. Im Mittelpunkt des Bahnhofs kreuzen sich die unterirdischen Nord-Süd-Fernbahngleise mit der in Ost-West-Richtung verlaufenden oberirdischen Trasse der Stadtbahn. Es wird über den komplexen Entwurfs- und Realisierungsprozeß aus der Sicht der Prüfingenieure berichtet.
