Title:	Erinnerung an Luigi Cremona (1830-1903)
Abstract:	Der 100. Todestag von Luigi Cremona am 10. Juni 2003 gibt Anlaß, an den bedeutenden italienischen Mathematiker und Hochschullehrer zu erinnern, der ein Verfahren zur graphischen Ermittlung der Stabkräfte in statisch bestimmten Fachwerkträgern entwickelte, das dank seiner Einfachheit über hundert Jahre zum unverzichtbaren Werkzeug der Bauingenieure wurde. Darüber hinaus förderte Cremona in den letzten Jahrzehnten seines Lebens als Politiker die wissenschaftliche Profilierung der technischen Hochschulen in Italien.
