Abstract:	Auf der Basis der Bruchmechanik wird der Einfluß von Durchbrüchen auf das Tragverhalten von Brettschichtholzträgern untersucht. Mit Hilfe der Methode der finiten Elemente werden die Spannungsintensitätsfaktoren an der Spitze von fiktiven Rissen variabler Länge und Lage unter verschiedenen Einheitsbelastungen ermittelt. Mit Hilfe des Versagenskriteriums nach Wu werden Bruchgrenzkörper für verschiedene Spannungskombinationen berechnet, die die Basis für Vorschläge von Bemessungskurven bilden.
