Abstract:	Der 1912 errichteten Jahrhunderthalle in Breslau liegt als statisches System eine Rippenkugel mit 65 m lichter Weite zugrunde und galt bis mit dem Pantheon in Rom als weitestgespannte Massivkuppel der Welt. Der Aufsatz erinnert an die frühen Leistungen des Eisenbetonbaus.
