Abstract:	Beim Modell Schopfheim legte die Stadt als Eigentümerin des Baulandes beim Verkauf der Grundstücke an die Bauträger vertraglich erhöhte Anforderungen an den Wärmeschutz der Wohngebäude fest. Daneben wurden auch die Kostenobergrenzen pro Quadratmeter Wohnfläche für den Verkauf der Wohnungen auf 2200,- DM für preiswertes Wohnen und 2750,- DM für freifinanziertes Wohneigentum vertraglich festgelegt. Die vertraglichen Vereinbarungen stellen sicher, daßdiese Gebäude gegenüber konventionell üblich gedämmten deutlich weniger Heizenergie benötigen und die Baukosten nicht höher liegen, was eine intelligente Planung und Kenntnisse über energiesparendes Bauen erfordert. Über die Planungsphase des ersten Bauabschnitts wird berichtet.
