Abstract:	Im Auftrag der EG-Kommission arbeitet das europäische Normungsgremium CEN an Normen im Energiesektor, die in Zukunft für alle Mitgliedstaaten gelten werden. Das Technische Komitee TC89 von CEN hat die Aufgabe, europäische Normen auf dem Gebiet des "Wärmetechnischen Verhaltens von Gebäuden" zu erarbeiten. Eine dieser Normen ist die bereits in der Entwurfsphase vorliegende Norm prEN 832:1992, die die Berechnung des Heizwärmebedarfs von Wohngebäuden" in der Methodik festlegt. Der Aufsatz stellt die zukunftsweisende europäische Methode nach EN 832 vor und zeigt anhand eines Beispiels, wie das Verfahren angewandt wird.
