Abstract:	Das entwickelte neuartige Meßgerät basiert auf der Transmissionsmessung von Gammastrahlung. Im Beitrag wird über Erfahrungen und Meßergebnisse berichtet, die bei der Erprobung und Weiterentwicklung des Prototyps gesammelt wurden. Der mechanische Aufbau des Meßkopfes wird ebenso beschrieben wie die Ausführung der verwendeten Quellen und Detektoren. Ausführlich wird auf die erforderliche Justierung des Meßkopfes sowie auf die Kalibration des Geräts eingegangen. Anhand einiger Meßergebnisse werden typische Einsatzmöglichkeiten des Gerätes und die dabei erzielbaren Resultate aufgezeigt.
