Abstract:	Wintergärten dürfen nicht nur als energiesparende und wohnwertverbessernde Maßnahmen betrachtet werden. Voraussetzung dafür ist eine bauphysikalisch richtige Ausführung. Insbesondere bei Geschoßwohnungen führen ungünstig geplante Wintergärten zu Korrosions- und Durchfeuchtungsschäden infolge Tauwasserausfalls sowie als Folge zu rechtlichen und wirtschaftlichen Konsequenzen durch veränderte Nutzer. Anhand von zwei durchgerechneten Beispielen wird gezeigt, daßdurch geänderte Wohnungsgrundrisse einerseits und verbesserte Konstruktionen andererseits Tauwasserschäden in Wintergärten vermieden werden können.
