Abstract:	Es werden energetische Betrachtungen von Zuluftfassaden hinsichtlich Standort, Orientierung, Aufbau und Geometrie vorgestellt. Die Untersuchungen zeigen, daß Lüftungswärmeverluste durch Zuluftfassaden um bis zu etwa 50 % verringert werden können. Eine wirkungsvolle Zuluftfassade besitzt eine transluzente Vorsatzschale, eine Kanaltiefe von 2 bis 24 mm und ist auf einer südorientierten, wärmegedämmten Wand angebracht. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wird bei der Orientierung des Aufbaus auf den Strömungswiderstand und die erforderliche Kanaltiefe der Systeme gerichtet. Zur Bemessung kann die energetische Wirkung von Zuluftfassaden innerhalb eines weiten Parameterbereichs abgeschätzt werden.
