Title:	Fertigung und Montage des Messeturms in Rostock
Abstract:	Dieser Beitrag beschreibt die Realisierung eines Tensegrity-Turmes, der auf einem dreieckigen Grundriß aufgebaut und bei dem jedes Segment um 30° verdreht ist (Twistelement). Die Realisierung erfordert die Einhaltung ungewöhnlich kleiner Fertigungstoleranzen, insbesondere bei den Seilen, und ein konsistentes Konzept für den Toleranzausgleich. Ein Hauptproblem der Realisierung ist das Vorspannen der Seile, das durch gleichzeitiges Verschieben der drei Fußpunkte jedes Elementes mit Hilfe von 100-t-Pressen gelöst wurde. Der Turm wurde aus den drei Twistelementen zunächst in zwei Teilen zusammengebaut und dann das obere Teil mit einem 170-t-Mobilkran auf das untere Teil gehoben.
