Abstract:	Beim Vergleich der Beanspruchungen und Formänderungen von 15 Bogenstaumauern sehr unterschiedlicher Geometrien und Steifigkeitsverhältnisse gemäß einer vereinfachten Näherungsberechnung nach der Schalentheorie wird eine mindestens für die Vorbemessung und Kontrolle völlig ausreichende Übereinstimmung mit ausgewählten in-situ-Messungen festgestellt. Die erforderliche Handrechnung für die drei Hauptlastfälle Eigenlast, Wasserdruck und Temperaturänderung ist ohne Lösung eines Gleichungssystems in nur zwei Stunden zu bewältigen.
