Abstract:	Bauteile aus Glas haben einen festen Platz im aktuellen Baugeschehen eingenommen. Für die Möglichkeiten des Nachweises der Verwendbarkeit solcher Bauteile sind zum einen die baurechtlichen Randbedingungen und Hintergründe zu beachten. Zum anderen ist die Kenntnis der aktuellen Bemessungsregeln sowie alternativer Nachweismethoden unabdingbar. In diesem Beitrag wird kurz auf die einzelnen, in der Vergangenheit und derzeit aktuell anwendbaren Möglichkeiten der Nachweise von Bauelementen aus Glas eingegangen. Abschließend erfolgt ein Ausblick auf zukünftig zu erwartende Regelungen im Zuge der Umstellung auf das Konzept der Teilsicherheitsbeiwerte.
