Abstract:	Die sichtbare Gebäudehülle des "Zentrum Paul Klee" in Bern besteht nur aus zwei Elementen - der wellenförmigen Dachstruktur und der markanten, zweistöckigen Frontfassade. Der vorliegende Aufsatz erläutert den Entwurf und die Konstruktionsprinzipien der bis zu 19,5 m hohen, von den Frontbögen abgehängten Glasfassaden. Die Wahl des Tragsystem wird insbesondere von den großen Verformungen des Bogendaches bestimmt, die möglichst zwängungsfrei von den Fassaden aufgenommen werden müssen. Ein quer zur Fassadenebene angeordneter "Balancier" wird eingeführt, um Spannkraftverluste in den oberen vorgespannten Kabeln zu vermeiden.
