Abstract:	Neben dem Neubau gewinnt die Erweiterung bestehender Verkehrswege in Deutschland immer mehr an Bedeutung. Durch den Umbau der Infrastruktur werden Lärmschutzmaßnahmen in neuen Größenordnungen notwendig. Anhand des Ausbaus der Bundesautobahn A 9 bei München wird die Koordination und Planung der Maßnahme bei engen Terminen aufgezeigt. Zwei ausgewählte Lösungen zeigen, daß Schallschutz bei bestehenden Verkehrswegen in beengten Platzverhältnissen effektiv, wirtschaftlich und gestalterisch auf hohem Niveau sein kann.
