Abstract:	Im Rahmen eines gemeinsamen Forschungsvorhabens wurden von den Stahlbaulehrstühlen in Aachen, Berlin und Bochum umfangreiche experimentelle und theoretische Untersuchungen zur Tragfähigkeit von Walzprofilen durchgeführt. Von den ca. 70 Versuchen wurden fünf ausgewählt, über die in dem Beitrag ausführlich berichtet wird. Mit Hilfe von begleitenden Berechnungen werden die Einflüsse auf das Tragverhalten und die Tragfähigkeit geklärt. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden im Hinblick auf die baupraktische Bemessung ausgewertet und erläutert.
