Title:	Innovative Raumakustik im Spannungsfeld zwischen Forschung und Markt
Abstract:	Anhand von Beispielen wird gezeigt, daß für Musikerarbeitsplätze, sowie für verbale kom-munikationsintensive Raumnutzung eine richtig funktionierende Raumakustik kein entbehrli-cher Luxus ist, sondern ein die Arbeitsleistung und Gesundheit förderndes "Muß". Neue Raumakustik-Bauteile, sowie Konzepte aus Forschung und Entwicklung müssen außer ihrer akustischen Funktion noch weitere Vorteile aufweisen und können nur mit Hilfe von Indust-riepartnern im Bau-Markt etabliert werden. Eine vereinfachte Kostenkalkulation, ohne auch die leistungs- und motivationsfördernden Aspekte einer funktionalen Raumakustik in Betracht zu ziehen, zeigt, daß diese Investitionen oft nur vergleichsweise geringe Mehrkosten verur-sachen. Im Bereich der Freifeldräume sparen schlanke reflexionsfreie Auskleidungen sogar von der ersten Minute an Rohbaukosten in der Größenordnung ihres Anschaffungspreises im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Auskleidungen.
