Abstract:	Holzleichtbeton ist ein Verbundwerkstoff, der durch gute Verarbeitungseigenschaften und variierbare Wärme-, Schall- und Festigkeitseigenschaften gekennzeichnet ist. Es wurde die Kombination von Holzleichtbeton mit Latentwärmespeichermaterialien (PCM) anhand von Versuchen und Funktionsmodelle in unterschiedlichen Maßstäben untersucht. Die Erhöhung der thermischen Speicherfähigkeit von Holzleichtbeton mit PCM führt unter Berücksichtigung externer Verschattung und ausreichender Nachluft-wechselrate zur Reduktion der sommerlichen Überhitzung. Kompositmaterialien aus Holz und hydraulischen Bindemitteln und der Verbund mit PCM zeigen weitere funktionale und konstruktive Vorteile wie leichtere und dünnere Wandelemente.
