Abstract:	Unter den sechs wesentlichen Anforderungen der Bauproduktenrichtlinie an bauliche Anlagen findet sich gleichberechtigt der Bereich "Hygiene, Gesundheit und Umweltschutz". Die darunter fallenden Kriterien beinhalten u. a. auch die Beachtung der Freisetzung giftiger Gase. Das jetzt aufgelegte 6. Umweltprogramm der EU verlangt deshalb eine stärkere Verpflichtung für Hersteller zur Bereitstellung von Daten und Hinweisen in Bezug auf gesundheitliche Risiken; zur Umsetzung wird auch die Entwicklung eines einheit-lichen Systems zur Prüfung und Bewertung verlangt.
