Abstract:	Die Windenergie geht Offshore. Im Vergleich zu den existierenden Onshore-Anlagen entstehen daraus neue Anforderungen an die Stahlkonstruktion von Fundamentierung und Mast dieser Anlagen und die darin verwendeten Stahlprodukte. Hier können die Entwickler aber stark von den Erfahrungen anderer Offshore-Konstruktionen wie Öl- und Gasplattformen profitieren. Die Stahlentwicklung im klassischen Offshore-Bereich wurde vor allem durch besonders hohe Anforderungen an die Bauteilsicherheit und den widrigen Anwendungsbedingungen und eine effi-ziente Verarbeitungstechnik geprägt. Hier kommen bevorzugt thermomechanisch gewalzte Stähle zum Einsatz, deren Eigenschaftsprofil detailliert beschrieben wird. Abschließend wird der heutige Stand der Fertigungstechnolgie in diesem Bereich vorgestellt.
