Abstract:	Die bodenmechanischen Verhältnisse im Alpenvorraum und die Erfahrungen, die bei der Abdichtung von Stauräumen beim Bau von Wehren und Staustufen gemacht wurden. Es zeigt sich, daß die Erstellung von Spundwandschürzen bis in den Tertiär aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen mit der Zeit durch die Dichtungswand nach den ETMO-Verfahren ersetzt wurde.
