Abstract:	Die neue Muldequerung Wurzen im Zuge der B 6 hat eine Gesamtlänge von 530 m und unterteilt sich in die 215 m lange Flußbrücke und die 315 m lange Vorlandbrücke. Spezielle Randbedingungen hinsichtlich der Trassierung und des Hochwasserschutzes sowie hohe gestalterische Ansprüche haben zu einer außergewöhnlichen Lösung für die Flußbrücke geführt. Das gewählte Fachwerk in Zügelgurtform ist im Mittelstreifen angeordnet und folgt der gekrümmten Trassierung. Der Aufsatz beschreibt den Prozeß der Lösungsfindung und geht ausführlich auf die statischen und konstruktiven Besonderheiten der Flußbrücke ein. Des weiteren werden Hinweise zu möglichen Modifizierungen und zum Potential der Konstruktion gegeben.
