Abstract:	CIDECT ist eine Vereinigung der Hohlprofilhersteller zur internationalen Zusammenarbeit in Forschung und Entwicklung zur Erarbeitung von von Anwendungsregeln für Hohlprifle. Die Leistung von CIDECT ist mit dem Erfolg verknüpft, die Wissenschaftler der einzelnen Forschungsstellen und die Industriepartner zur Erweiterung des Anwendungsbereichs der Hohlprofile an einen gemeinsamen Tisch zu bringen. Mit der Beschleunigung der europäischen Einigung zu einem gemeinsamen Markt sind die Vorarbeiten von CIDECT, die seit 30 Jahren laufen, spürbar.
