Abstract:	Es wird ein Modell zur Beurteilung der Trag- und Gebrauchsfähigkeit von vierseitig gelagerten, unversteiften Stahlblechen unter Druckbeanspruchung vorgestellt. Es handelt sich nicht nur um ein einfaches, in der Praxis anwendbares Berechnungsmodell, mit dem Traglasten und zugehörige Verformungen druckbeanspruchter Platten aus Stahl ermittelt werden, sondern auch um ein plausibles Erklärungsmodell, mit dem das Beultragverhalten von Stahlblechen in Abhängigkeit der wichtigsten Einflußparameter veranschaulicht und verstanden werden kann. Beispiele zeigen die Anwendung sowie die Vorteile des neuen Modells.
