Title:	NordWestZentrum Frankfurt am Main - Teil 2: Erweiterungsneubauten
Abstract:	Das NordWestZentrum wurde in den Jahren 2002 bis 2004 erneut erweitert. Im Zuge dieser Maßnahme wurde das Areal der ehemaligen Fachhochschule vollständig neu bebaut. Es entstanden 430000 m3 umbauter Raum, der einer neuen Nutzung zugeführt wurde. Das Bauvorhaben war für den planenden Ingenieur eine große Herausforderung in bezug auf Abbruch, Begutachtung, Sanierung, Sicherung des Bestandes sowie der Tragwerksplanung des Neubaus und dessen spezieller Gründung, unter Beachtung der Vorgabe: “Bauen im Bestand und Bauen im Betrieb.”
