Abstract:	Der vorliegende Artikel berichtet über die neusten Entwicklungen im Bereich der thermomechanisch gewalzten Grobbleche. Stähle mit einer Mindeststreckgrenze bis 500 MPa können heute in Dicken bis 100 mm über thermomechanische Walzung hergestellt werden. Diese Stähle zeichnen sich besonders durch sehr gute Verarbeitungseigenschaften, insbesondere Schweißeignung, aus. Erste Erfahrungen mit solchen Stählen aus dem Bereich der Offshore-Konstruktionen und des Stahlwasserbaus liegen vor. Über diese wird im Rahmen dieses Artikels berichtet.
