Abstract:	Die Salhus-Brücke über den Salhus-Fjord in Westnorwegen wird Norwegens zweite Pontonbrücke und die größte Pontonbrücke der Welt überhaupt sein. Einmal in Betrieb, wird sie die Autofähren mit den stärksten Verkehrsströmen in Norwegen ersetzen. Die Gesamtlänge der Brücke beträgt 1615 m, sie setzt sich aus einer 369 m langen Schrägseilbrücke und einer 1246 m langen Pontonbrücke zusammen. Letztere besteht aus einem stählernen Kastenträger, der auf 10 Betonpontons gelagert ist und mittels Zwischenelementen aus Schmiedestahl an die Widerlager angeschlossen wird. Im Beitrag wird die Pontonbrücke beschrieben.
