Abstract:	Beim Bau des 34, 6 km langen Lötschberg-Basistunnels werden 16 Mio. to Material ausgebrochen, davon 10 Mio. to im Südabschnitt und 6 Mio. to im Nordabschnitt. Für die Materialbewirtschaftung wurde ein umfassendes globales Konzept erarbeitet. In dessen Mittelpunkt steht die Aufbereitung von Ausbruchmaterial zu Betonzuschlagstoffen, die für die Herstellung des im Projekt verbauten Betons benötigt werden. Von besonderem Interesse ist der Umstand, dass aus teilweise Alkaliaggregat-reaktiven Betonzuschlagstoffen ein AAR-beständiger Beton herzustellen ist.
