Abstract:	Die Hintergründe der bauaufsichtlichen Einführung einer gegenüber DIN 4102-4 neuen Tabelle 31 für den brandschutztechnischen Nachweis von Stahlbetonstützen werden erläutert. Die Anwendungsgrenzen für die Tabellenbemessung sind nach wie vor streng. Die Auslegung der Tabelle auf eine Stützenlänge von 6 m für Rechteckstützen bzw. 5 m für Rundstützen führt zu deutlich auf der sicheren Seite liegenden Ergebnissen bei im üblichen Geschossbau geringeren Geschosshöhen. Für diese Fälle wird eine Ergänzung der Tabellenwerte für kürzere Stützenlängen mit Interpolationsmöglichkeit vorgeschlagen. Anhand eines Beispiels wird die Tabellenanwendung erläutert.
