Abstract:	Der Neubau einer Glaskuppel über dem Nordhof des Landtages von Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel ist Teil der umfassenden Ergänzungs- und Modernisierungsmaßnahmen für das bestehende Landtagsgebäude. Erscheinungsbild und Tragverhalten sind bestimmt durch die Randbedingung eines unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Gebäudebestandes und die aus dem Gebäudebestand abgeleitete ungewöhnliche Geometrie der Glaskuppel. Der Beitrag beschreibt die Objektplanung und die Tragwerksplanung für die Glaskuppel sowie deren Tragverhalten.
