Abstract:	Der Arbeitskreis Geotechnik der Deponiebauwerke hat in den Empfehlungsgruppen E1 bis E5 bisher 76 Empfehlungen veröffentlicht. Die jährliche Publikation wird fortgesetzt durch eine grundlegend überarbeitete Fassung der zuletzt im Jahre 2001 erschienenen Empfehlung E2-36 “Oberflächenabdichtungssysteme mit Tondichtungsbahnen”. In die Überarbeitung sind die jüngsten Forschungsergebnisse, Erfahrungen mit der Planung, dem Bau und der messtechnischen Überwachung von Maßnahmen eingeflossen.
