Abstract:	Im Vordergrund des Aufsatzes steht die Beurteilung der κ-Werte für Druckstäbe aus gewalzten I-Profilen. Anhand rechnerisch ermittelter κ-Werte werden die Genauigkeit überprüft und vorhandene Reserven aufgezeigt. Zur Ausnutzung dieser Reserven wird neben der Angabe der genauen κ-Werte eine neue Knickspannungslinie “ab” vorgeschlagen. Sie ermöglicht für typische Stützenprofile mit h/b ≤ 1,2, also für baupraktisch besonders interessante Anwendungsfälle, eine wirtschaftlichere Bemessung als bisher.
