Abstract:	Im Rahmen eines BMBF-Projekts wurden von der Firma Xella Technologie- und Forschungsgesellschaft mbH und dem Institut für Stochastik der TU Bergakademie Freiberg Versuche zur Druckfestigkeit von Porenbeton durchgeführt und diese dann statistisch ausgewertet. Im Mittelpunkt stand der Größeneffekt, d.h. die Abhängigkeit der Druckfestigkeit von der Probengröße. Ein Größeneffekt wurde nur für Prüfkörper mit einer Kantenlänge von kleiner als 200 mm nachgewiesen, wobei mit abnehmender Prüfkörpergröße auch die Festigkeit sinkt. Das führt zu einem Faktor von 1,05 für die Umrechnung von Festigkeiten von Würfeln mit einer Kantenlänge von 100 mm auf handelsübliche Steine.
