Abstract:	Der europäische Normentwurf DIN EN 998-1, welcher derzeit als Entwurfsfassung August 2000 vorliegt, wird mittelfristig die nationale Norm DIN 18550 teilweise ersetzen. Die europäische Norm ist weitaus weniger detailliert als das bisher bekannte nationale Regelwerk und beinhaltet dennoch in einem einzigen Normteil Anforderungen für übliche Putze, Leichtputz, Dämmputz und Sanierputz. Nicht Gegenstand der europäischen Norm ist der Inhalt von DIN 18558 “Kunstharzputze”, für welche erst vor wenigen Monaten ein europäischer Normungsauftrag (Work Item) beantragt wurde.
