Abstract:	Die deutsche Kalksandsteinindustrie hat in ihrer über 100jährigen Geschichte den Mauerwerksbau maßgeblich beeinflußt. So wurden von ihr innovative Bauprodukte und Bausysteme entwickelt, die auf den heutigen Baustellen nicht mehr wegzudenken sind. Großformatige KS-Planelemente als werkseitig gelieferte konfektionierte Wandbausätze und KS-Rasterelemente im Baukastenprinzip (Raster von 12,5 cm) hatten zusammen im Jahr 2000 - wenige Jahre nach ihrer Einführung - bereits einen Marktanteil von über 25 % an der gesamten Kalksandstein-Produktion in Deutschland. Nunmehr wurde innerhalb dieses Bausystems im Bereich von Wandöffnungen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eine Lücke geschlossen. KS-Flachstürze mit auf der Baustelle hergestellter Druckzone und KS-Fertigteilstürze werden flächendeckend in Deutschland angeboten. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Sturzarten (Produktinformation), Anforderungen, Tragfähigkeiten, Einbauanweisungen und bauphysikalischen Gesichtspunkte.
