Abstract:	Energetisch hocheffiziente Neubauten sind heute mit erprobten Techniken realisierbar. Gebäudestandards wie z. B. das KfW-40-Haus (Primärenergiebedarf max. 40 kWh/(m2 a)) oder das Passivhaus (max. 15 kWh/m2 a)) sind vielfach erprobt. Doch der endgültige Durchbruch im Massenmarkt fehlt noch: Viele Neubauten weisen eine energetische Qualität auf, die zwar den gesetzlichen Anforderungen genügt, aber nicht die wirtschaftlich sinnvollen Energiesparpotentiale ausnutzt. Die Bundesregierung und die Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) werden daher die Marktdurchdringung hoch energieeffizienter Neubauten durch intensive Öffentlichkeitsarbeit verstärkt unterstützen.
