Abstract:	Die 1700 m lange MaChang-Brücke ist Teil der Schnellstraßenverbindung zwischen den Städten Masan und Changwon im Süden von Korea und führt in etwa 68 m Höhe über die Bucht von Masan. Diese Hochbrücke besteht aus 550 bzw. 410 m langen Vorlandbrücken und einer 740 m langen Hauptbrücke. Die Hauptbrücke, eine 400 m weit gespannte Schrägseilbrücke mit zwei Pylonen, stellt das dominierende Bauwerk dieser Verbindung dar. Sie überspannt den 350 m breiten Schifffahrtskanal, welcher für Durchfahrten von Schiffen mit bis zu 80000 dwt ausgelegt ist.
