Abstract:	Im Rahmen des Europäischen Forschungsvorhabens ESECMaSE wurden im Forschungslabor ELSA in ISPRA (Italien) zwei pseudo-dynamische Großversuche im Maßstab 1:1 an Reihenhaushälften durchgeführt. Die Versuche zeigen eindrucksvoll, dass übliche Reihenhausgrundrisse bei den in Deutschland zu erwartenden Erdbeben lasten nahezu rissfrei bleiben. Die Versuche bilden zusammen mit den vorhergehenden Untersuchungen im Rahmen des Projekts die Grundlage für eine nachhaltige Optimierung der bislang gängigen Bemessungsannahmen und -modelle, mit denen die Leistungsfähigkeit von Mauerwerkbauten zur Zeit noch deutlich unterschätzt wird.
