Abstract:	Die konsequent ansteigenden Anforderungen an den baulichen Wärmeschutz beheizter Gebäude führen unter bestimmten Randbedingungen zum Einsatz hochleistungsfähiger Wärmedämmelemente, deren Leistungsfähigkeit auf dem Einsatz der Vakuumtechnologie basiert. Das in den Elementen erzeugte Feinvakuum muss dauerhaft erhalten bleiben, um die exzellenten Wärmedämmeigenschaften gewährleisten zu können. Die dazu erforderliche permeationsdichte Einhüllung des Stützkernmaterials führt naturgemäß im Bereich der Elementkanten - und hier besonders im Bereich der bei größeren gedämmten Flächen erforderlichen Elementstöße - zu erhöhten Wärmeverlusten. Die vorliegende Arbeit quantifiziert diese zusätzlichen Wärmeverluste für unterschiedliche Konstruktionen auf der Basis von Messungen.
