Abstract:	Konische Pfähle können höhere Vertikallasten abtragen als herkömmliche Pfähle mit einem konstanten Schaftquerschnitt. Der durch die Konizität aktivierte Mechanismus ist bislang wenig erforscht und so gibt es bisher kein Verfahren zur Erfassung des zusätzlich aktivierten Widerstands. In diesem Beitrag werden Ergebnisse von Feldversuchen vorgestellt, die die Wirksamkeit der konischen Pfahlform belegen. Auf Basis dieser Untersuchung wird ein Vorschlag für ein Bemessungsverfahren erarbeitet, das auf den Empfehlungen des Arbeitskreises Pfähle aufbaut. Über den Ansatz eines äquivalenten Spitzendrucks im Schaftbereich gelingt die Nachrechnung der Feldversuche.
