Abstract:	Zur Anbindung des neuen Stadtquartiers “Parkstadt Schwabing” im Norden Münchens erfolgt die Erschließung mit einer neuen Straßenbahnlinie, der Linie 23. Für die Querung des Mittleren Rings an der Schenkendorfstraße wird ein neues Brückenbauwerk erforderlich. Die außergewöhnliche Brückenkonstruktion in unmittelbarem Zusammenhang mit der Glaseinhausung des Petueltunnels gehört in München zu den spektakulärsten Kreuzungssituationen im innerstädtischen Bereich. Gleichzeitig wird mit diesem Bauwerk ein Tor zur Stadt geschaffen und mit dem geneigten Tragmast und den Tragseilen eine Assoziation zum 2 km weiter westlich gelegenen, wichtigsten architektonischen Wahrzeichen Münchens, dem Olympiadach, hergestellt.
