Abstract:	In Gebieten mit überwiegend Sand- oder Kiesvorkommen bieten sich mehrschichtige mineralische Basisabdichtungen aus diesem Boden unter Zugabe von Bentonit und - falls erforderlich - von Füllstoffen zur Abdichtung von Deponien gegen Versickerung an. Diese Dichtungen werden kurz als "Betonkies-Dichtungen" bezeichnet. Sie werden seit einigen Jahren in grossem Umfang für Hausmüll- und Industriemülldeponien eingebaut, da sie neben technischen Vorteilen auch kostengünstig sind.
