Abstract:	Die Bemessung von Stützbauwerken aus Beton und Stahlbeton erfolgt auf Basis von gültigen Betonbau und Geotechnik Normen. In Österreich wird derzeit vom nationalen Normenkonzept auf die europäischen Normenwerke (EUROCODES) umgestellt. Im folgenden Artikel wird der aktuelle Stand der Normung in Österreich und das Zusammenspiel des Eurocode 2 (EN 1992-x) und des Eurocode 7 (EN 1997-1) bei der Bemessung von Gewichtsmauern aus Beton und Stahlbeton gezeigt. Dabei werden die notwendigen Nachweise erläutert und deren normative Verankerungen dargestellt.
