Abstract:	Ein prototypisches Kunststoff-Faltwerk ist von der Klasse für Konstruktives Entwerfen und Tragwerkslehre der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart entwickelt und in Eigenarbeit realisiert worden. Ein hochleistungsfähiges Tragwerkskonzept mit komplexer Geometrie, ein innovativer und hochwertiger Werkstoff und eine neu entwickelte Fügetechnologie sind die besonderen Kennzeichen des spektakulären Experimentalbaus. Der Beitrag beschreibt die Objektplanung, die Tragwerksplanung sowie die Herstellung und Montage des Kunststoff-Faltwerks.
