Abstract:	Der Brückenbeton der Niedersachsenbrücke in Wilhelmshaven ist u.a. durch Transport von umgeschlagenem Steinsalz und durch den Winterdienst stark chloridverseucht. Aufgrund von Forschungsergeb-nissen ist bekannt, daß in chloridbeaufschlagtem Beton die Bewehrung nur dort korrodieren kann, wo durch ausreichende Sauerstoffzufuhr und Feuchtigkeit die Passivität des Stahls aufgehoben wird. Vom Gutachter wurde deshalb vorgeschlagen, durch weitgehende Abdichtung der Spannbetonbauteile ein "Einfrieren" der Chloridbestandteile zu erreichen.
