Abstract:	Die DIN 488 gibt für Betonstähle statistische Kenngrössen an, ohne die zur Auswertung heranzuziehenden statistischen Verfahren näher zu präzisieren. Anhand von Beispielen wurde deshalb ein einfach zu handhabendes rechnerisches Verfahren zur Ermittlung des 5% Quantils erläutert. Das Verfahren nach GRAF/HENNING/STANGE kann für alle Probengrössen ab n > 5 angewandt werden, wenn die Prüfergebnisse, bzw. die Grundgesamtheit, aus der sie stammen, normalverteilt sind. Die vorgeschlagenen Verfahren können im Rahmen der Eigen- und Fremdüberwachung von Betonstahlwerken angewandt werden und auch für Kontrollprüfungen z.B. auf Baustellen eingesetzt werden.
