Abstract:	Die Regelung zur Ermittlung der Mindestbewehrung für die Begrenzung der Rissbreiten nach DIN -Fachbericht 102 und DIN 1045-1 berücksichtigt nicht ausreichend die unterschiedlichen Rissmechanismen bei dünnen und dicken Bauteilen. Häufig werden dadurch dicke Bauteile stark überbemessen. Dieser Beitrag enthält einen Bemessungsvorschlag für die Mindestbewehrung bei dicken Wänden, wie sie insbesondere bei Brückenwiderlagern und Pfeilern häufig vorkommen. Dabei wird auch der günstige Einfluss aus Maßnahmen der Betontechnologie und der Nachbehandlung berücksichtigt.
