Abstract:	Bei dem Umbau der Ingenieurschule Zwickau in ein Finanzamt wurde eine über 100 Jahre alte Stahlbetondachkonstruktion mit Textilbeton verstärkt. Im Vergleich mit anderen Verstärkungsmöglichkeiten konnte nur eine Textilbetonverstärkung den Anforderungen des Denkmal- und Brandschutzes, des Architekten sowie des Bauherrn gerecht werden und die statischen Forderung erfüllen. Die Textilbetonschicht, aus Feinbeton und textiler Bewehrung, wurde mit Gesamtdicken von nur 1,0 bis 1,5 cm aufgetragen.
