Abstract:	In der Nachrichtentechnik werden sogenannte rekursive digitale Filter häufig gebraucht, um Störsignale aus Zahlenreihen herauszusieben. Dieselben numerischen Methoden sind ebenfalls im Bauingenieurwesen sehr nützlich, wenngleich bisher nahezu unbekannt. Anhand der Analogie vom "einfältigen Boxer" werden rekursive Rechenverfahren für die Baudynamik (Schwingungen des Einmassensystems) und die Baustatik (Biegung des elastischen Balkens) beschrieben und durch Beispiele erläutert.
