Abstract:	Nicht selten ist zu hören, der Wohnungsbau in Deutschland sei in einem beklagenswerten Zustand. Die Politik kümmere sich zu wenig um die Situation im Wohnungsbau. Tatsache ist, dass nach der Expansion der Baubranche in den 90er Jahren in Folge der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands es zunächst zu einem massiven Rückgang der Bautätigkeit kam, diese sich allerdings seit einigen Jahren wieder auf einem gleich bleibenden Niveau bewegt. Dies trifft auch für den Teil bereich des Wohnungsbaus zu. Da liegt es nahe, nach den Rahmenbedingungen für den Wohnungsbau, der Lage des Wohnungsmarktes und den Möglichkeiten der Wohnraumförderung zu fragen.
